Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer lead an all-star cast of tennis stars coming to Dubai in February for the Duty Free Tennis Championships.

The Serb arrives in the Emirate as defending champions, while the Swiss great is a five-time winner of the tournament, which takes place at Dubai Tennis Stadium, Garhoud from February 24.

Joining the world’s leading players will be Argentine Juan Martin del Potro, Tomas Berdych, and French powerhouse Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who you can hear from the February issue of What’s On. 

Mikhail Youzhny, the world number 15, Dimitry Tursunov (number 29), Andreas Seppi, Philipp Kohlschreiber and Sergiy Stakhovsky, complete the line-up.

A spokesman said: “Once again we are thrilled to announce that an incredible line up of stars will be coming to the Tournament. Not only will the Championships be showcasing five of the top 10 men, including arguably two of the best players ever, but the appearance of some of the rising stars along with the return of some seasoned campaigners will guarantee a wonderful week of exciting tennis action.”

The men’s ATP World Tour event takes place the week after some of the world’s best women take to the court, including Petra Kvitova, Agnieszka Radwanska, Caroline Wozniacki, Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic.

The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships is owned and organised by Dubai Duty Free and held under the patronage of HH. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Tickets for the event are on sale from the box office at the Dubai Tennis Stadium, Garhoud, from 9am-9pm daily and are priced from Dhs75 to Dhs500.
