This morning, Dubai woke up to a heavy fog that crawled across Sheikh Zayed Road at about 6.30am.

While, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology, visibility was down to 50 metres for a while, the fog has mostly rolled past now. According to Accuweather the fog has now lifted and won’t return.

But seriously, does this mean ‘winter is coming?’. Well, today’s forecast high is 35 degrees Celsius, but the heat will peak at 40 degrees on Tuesday (so our much-anticipated winter may still be a way off).
