A Dhs1,400,000 Lamborghini supercar is reduced to ashes by engine fire.

Despite a 6.5-litre V12 engine pumping out 740 horsepower, it seems that even this poor Lamborghini Aventador was unable to outrun its fiery fate.

New videos emerged earlier today of a top of the range, yellow Lamborghini Aventador SV engulfed in flames over a bridge in one of Dubai’s most populated areas.

The car, a limited edition Lamborghini Aventador SV, is estimated at Dhs1,400,000 and was reduced to a smoldering pile of rubble in Dubai Marina before firefighters were able to save it.

It has been determined that the fire began in the engine, then quickly spread to and consumed the rest of the supercar.

Cars and people alike struggle with the heat of Dubai, but, speaking to car fanatics website JalopnikOsama Farkh from ArabGT said that the Aventador SV is supposed to be the version of the Lamborghini that is able to handle the high temperatures of the UAE.
