Dara O’Briain will pay a visit to Dubai next year as part of his Crowd Tickler tour, and the Irish comic’s visit is nicely timed to coincide with St Patrick’s Day.

O’Briain is best known as the host of the hugely successful news panel show Mock The Week, and other TV shows such as The Apprentice: You’re Fired! and The Panel.

How to be a stand-up comedian

Lauded for his quick thinking and sharp wit, O’Briain has been dubbed the “king of audience interaction”, and will no doubt be looking forward to exchanging some rapid fire back-and-forth banter with members of the audience during the show. Something to bear in mind if you were considering snapping up front row seats…

O’Briain’s latest Crowd Tickler tour marks the comic’s return to stand-up after a three-year break, with Craic Dealer in 2012 being his last tour.

In 2010, O’Briain was voted the 16th greatest stand-up comic on Channel 4’s 100 Greatest Stand-Ups.

British newspaper The Guardian said of O’Briain’s stand-up style: “These are classy routines, that assume the audience is intelligent and condescend to no one.”

Thomas Ovesen, COO of organisers Done Events stated, “Dara O’Briain delivers great comedy routines that appeal to a very wide audience. Surely we could’ve sold out this show on any day of the year, but St. Patrick’s Day couldn’t offer a more appropriate setting for what will be a full house of laughter on March 17th.”
