Taking up a hefty chunk of Shindagha is Carrefour, a ginormous supermarket that caters to everything from your weekly grocery shop to bargains in electronics and clothing. Be warned: it gets pretty busy, so avoid peak times if you are just popping in for a carton of milk.

If shopping isn’t for you, the seven-screen theatre is reason enough to visit Shindagha. It’s just five months old and can accommodate up to 900 cinemagoers. The films screened lean more towards the big Bollywood movies rather than the latest Hollywood blockbusters.

03. Characters
