The force is strong at the top…

Two Jedi Knights fighting with lightsabers from the 152nd floor of the Burj Khalifa? That’s right, it happened, here it is:

This super-cool video was released to celebrate the fact Star Wars: The Force Awakens is now available on iTunes and on OSN.

The battle was filmed partly by an aerial crew as the sun set over Dubai, with the lightsaber action happening 550 metres above sea level.

“The Middle East has a strong connection with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with Abu Dhabi featuring as the location for desert planet Jakku.  An epic lightsaber challenge at the top of the iconic Burj Khalifa is a fitting way to celebrate the movie’s release on DVD and digital platforms,” explained Didier Vannest from The Walt Disney Company, MENA.

And, guess what? Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the highest grossing film of all time, having taken in more than Dhs2.9 billion at the box office internationally (that’s not even factoring in all the merch’ that must have been sold).
