Our pick of the movies out in Dubai cinemas this week is Finding Dory, Pixar’s long-awaited sequel to Finding Nemo.

Here are all the new flicks you’ll be able to go see from today…

(And here are 15 other things to do this weekend.)

FINDING DORY

As far as we’re concerned, a new Pixar movie is always cause for celebration. Finding Dory has us reunited with the forgetful blue fish, along with Nemo and Marlin. This time round, instead of finding Nemo, our finned friends are travelling the ocean in search of Dory’s parents. Ellen Degeneres, Idris Elba and Diane Keaton lend their considerable voice talents – and with this being a Pixar film, we fully expect to laugh and cry a lot more than we normally would in the cinema.

NOW YOU SEE ME 2

Almost the full cast of the original Now You See Me has returned for the sequel. The Four Horsemen Jack (Dave Franco), J (Jesse Eisenberg) and Merritt (Woody Harrelson) are joined this time by Lula (Lizzy Caplan), as they’re recruited by a tech genius who’s hoping they can pull off their most lucrative heist yet. Oh, and the genius Walter Mabry is played by Daniel Radcliffe, aka, Harry Potter – a man who should know a thing or two about wizardry.

THE HOUSE ON PINE STREET

From Rosemary’s Baby in the 1960s to Visions and The Ones Below earlier this year, there’s always been an unnerving trend for horror movies based around a pregnant protagonist. In The House on Pine Street, Jennifer (Emily Gloss) is coping with a stressful pregnancy while living in a new house that only she believes is haunted – everyone around her assumes it’s more about her emotional state than any paranormal activity. But who’s actually right?
