How do you beat the summer’s heat? By sleeping on a bed of ice, of course.

Members of the public will be able to camp out each Friday from July 29 inside Ski Dubai, Mall of the Emirates.

As you may or may not remember, What’s On spent the night at a Ski Dubai sleepover not too long ago.

If you found yourself a little bit jealous and wanted to try it out for yourself – you’re in luck.

The experience is priced at Dhs750 for two people, with a maximum capacity of 30 people each week.

Here’s the video of our time spent in Ski Dubai:

Campers will be granted access to all of Ski Dubai’s Snow Park facilities, including skiing, snowboarding and zip-wiring between the hours of 10pm and midnight after the park has closed to the general public.

You’ll also be supplied with winter clothing, including waterproof gloves, jackets, beanies and a mug of hot chocolate (awesome).

Each camping duo will be given a two-person tent complete with sleeping bags and a thermal mattress – with breakfast at St Moritz café the next morning included.

If this sounds chill (sorry), a reservation can be made through the Ski Dubai booking line, on 800-386.

Ski Dubai are quite the crew at offering up fun experiences, having hosted a huge 1,000-person snowball fight back in April.

It was big, but it wasn’t the world’s biggest. If you wanted to take part in the world’s biggest snowball fight, you would have had to be one of the 7,681 participants in the Saskatoon, Canada snowball fight back in January.

We think it’s safe to say that it was the world’s largest snowball fight to take place in a shopping mall though. In the desert.
