Sponsored Content: The Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East is returning to Dubai this weekend…

This is one for all motorsport fans in the Middle East: The 8th season of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East is back with 12 races between November 2016 and April 2017. The championship’s self-prescribed mission? “To let the dreams of racing drivers in the Middle East come true”. We’re down with that.

The cool bit about this race? It’s open to young talents, many of the drivers are making their competitive debut this season. It’s seen as a great platform for regional drivers to flex their muscles and show the world what they’ve got (potentially then stepping up to other competitions).

On December 9th and 10th the lights will go green at the Dubai Autodrome, where racers from Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia & UAE will get a taste of what has traditionally been one of the most thrilling rounds of the series.

So if I go down, what will the atmosphere be like?

All of the Dubai races will be free to watch, with exciting race action throughout the whole two days. The main races will be at 3:45pm on Friday & 4:35pm on Saturday.

If you go down to watch, expect to see some genuine rivalries play out on the track.
