Nobody loves Twitter beef more than a slightly irrelevant celebrity.
If you haven’t heard, Chris Brown and Soulja Boy have been arguing over Twitter.
Oh, and they’ve decided to have a boxing match to settle it.
Where did it start? Well, Soulja Boy liked a photo on Instagram of Brown’s ex-girlfriend Karrueche. Brown wasn’t happy. So naturally, a fist fight is the only way to settle it. Sigh.
However, according to TMZ, the duo may be having that very-orchestrated fight right here in Dubai.
After the rules and regulations of hosting it in Las Vegas made the fight impossible, the duo plan to settle their differences on our turf – with the belief that the pay-per-view audience of said fight would make them millions.
Now, we can’t hold TMZ as a super-reliable source. These are the people that falsely reported that Miley Cyrus died in a car accident in 2008, and that Janet Jackson slapped her niece.
Saying that, it would be somewhat satisfying to see the two ego-jacked rappers slug it out in our city.
The fight is said to take place in March, with a specific date yet to be set.
Now, Soulja Boy seems to have locked in boxing veteran Floyd Mayweather as his trainer, with Chris Brown having had Mike Tyson recruited for him by 50 Cent. We don’t know if that makes the fight any more legitimate (or just all the more weird).
Oh, and it seems that 50 Cent is so certain that Chris Brown will win, he’s placed a Dhs367,000 bet.
Mike Tyson has even released a ‘diss track’ on Soulja Boy for the event, with the lyrics being something along the line of teaching Chris Brown how to knock him out.
