Believe it or not, but there’s another fancy hotel opening in Dubai in a matter of months – that’s right,  the Viceroy Palm Jumeirah aims to start taking guests from March 31.

Here’s a snap from Gulf Business showing what the striking building looks like right now:

This will be the second Viceroy in the UAE (as you probably know, there’s currently one in Abu Dhabi).

The hotel will be the first resort you get to as you drive onto the Palm island and along the Golden Mile, and the building features a striking design with a hole in the middle that lets you see through to the other side of the structure.

There are residences in the complex too (and apparently eight residents have already moved in). The hotel will open by March 31 and the rates for rooms will sit at around Dhs1,700 a night.

Or, if you’re extra swanky, you could stay in the 15th floor penthouse terrace with its two bars and private plunge pools.

– The hotel will have three outdoor swimming pools, including a 55 metre long pool. There will also be a 200 metre stretch of beach.

We know it’s only a rendering, but we’d give anything to transport ourselves to this beach right now…
