A new ladies’ day, a staycation discount and plenty of foodie deals…

It’s only a four-day week, but there’s still plenty going on ahead of Eid weekend. We’ve got staycation discounts, plenty of foodie deals, a make up masterclass and a brand new ladies’ day.

Here are eight things to do in Dubai this week…

Sunday August 27

1. Get up to 30% off an Anantara staycation

Anantara The Palm is having a five-day flash sale that wraps up on Tuesday. All bookings made before then will get 30 per cent off a room-only booking, which means rates can start from Dhs595 per night before service charges and fees. It’s only valid on selected rooms, but the good news is it’s valid on all bookings up until August 2018 – plus you’ll get a Dhs150 restaurant credit to enjoy during your stay.

Mazina is celebrating Kerala’s 10-day harvest festival, Onam, with Onasadhya – a wide spread of south Indian dishes, served on silver platters. The buffet-style spread will offer 105 types of dishes, from starters to desserts. The menu includes traditional Onam dishes such as Kalan (raw banana cubes cooked with curd, coconut paste and south Indian spices), Erissery (yam cooked with coconut paste and dal), and Ela Ada (rice flour cake spread on banana leaf steamed with banana and grated coconut stuffing).
