There’s only 145 days until 2019 after all…

It might only be August, but some of us like to be organised. And those of you who do might be pleased to hear that the Burj Al Arab is already advertising tickets for New Year’s Eve.

So what does the world’s only 7-star hotel have on offer for New Year’s Eve?

Well of course you’ll have front row seats to the annual fireworks display, which lights up the skies surrounding the Burj Al Arab.

But inside, it’s just as lavish an affair.

Gala dinner packages start from Dhs7,810 for adults to dine at European restaurant Bab Al Yam and Al Iwan Arabic restaurant. Then at poolside Californian spot Scape, seafood restaurant Nathan Outlaw at Al Mahara and French fine dining venue Al Muntaha, New Year’s Eve packages are Dhs8,740.

If you want to make a night of it and stay over, it comes with a hefty price tag. Between December 28 and January 1, guests are required to stay for a minimum of four nights.

Ours will be an uber then…

Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah, 9pm to 3am, December 31, from Dhs7810. Tel: (04) 3017400. jumeirah.com
