Now the long weekend has finally been announced, it’s time to get planning.

Didn’t manage to bag yourself an Eid getaway? Not to worry, because there’s plenty happening here in Dubai. From staycations to spa deals and dinner discounts to daycations, there’s something to keep everyone occupied.

So on top of four days of fireworks at The Beach, we’ve rounded up 21 things to do in Dubai this Eid Al Adha.

1. Jumeirah Al Naseem

On a long stretch of private beach, Jumeirah Al Naseem is offering a one-night stay from Dhs1,400 (including government fees). This rate includes breakfast and your choice of lunch or dinner at over 70 restaurants across the Madinat Jumeirah Resort (which has Insta-worthy views out to the Burj Al Arab). 2. La Ville

La Ville

For a boutique hotel experience, stay at La Ville Hotel & Suites conveniently located in the middle of City Walk’s shops and restaurants. Here’s a good deal for groups: over Eid, if you book a Junior Suite or Executive Suite you can get a connecting Deluxe Room at 50% off. Take advantage of their rooftop swimming pool, one of the three dining outlets, or head to one of two spa treatment rooms for some much-needed pampering.

3. Shangri-La

The Shangri-La Hotel Dubai has announced a three-night offer over Eid Al Adha weekend. Be one of the first to stay in one of the newly refurbished rooms for three nights, but only pay for two. Enjoy views over Downtown Dubai or over the coast and pick from one of five bars and restaurants to dine at while you stay (we love Vietnamese spot Hoi An).

4. The Westin

A peaceful retreat on Jumeirah Beach, this family-friendly hotel is offering up to 20% off on an Eid weekend stay. With views over the Arabian Gulf from its central Dubai Marina location, there’s a whole host of recreational activities for all the family such as a kids’ club, tennis courts and watersports, and there are a bunch of different restaurants and bars to try too.

5. The St. Regis Dubai

Located on the arterial Sheikh Zayed Road, this Al Habtoor City hotel is offering up to 20% off rooms until September 9. And if you’re part of the Starwood Preferred Guest loyalty programme, you can get 30% off. Plus, there’s 30% off food and soft beverages at a number of The St Regis’ restaurants and bars including the Champagne Lounge, J&G Steakhouse and Brasserie Quartier.

Dukes has a staycation deal for all the family: from Dhs1,255 enjoy an overnight stay with breakfast for up to two adults and two children, two complimentary passes to Dubai Parks & Resorts, dinner at newly opened Khyber restaurant and 20% off any further food and drink you purchase across the hotel. At Vida Downtown, you’re rewarded for how long you stay this Eid. Stay two nights and save 10 per cent, stay three nights and save 15 per cent and stay four nights and save 20 per cent. 8. Burj Al Arab

Here’s one for the high rollers: stay at the world’s most iconic hotel the Burj Al Arab and enjoy a half-board rate from Dhs4,860 per room per night. There’s a complimentary daily breakfast included, plus you can experience the ultimate poolside luxury at one of Burj Al Arab’s private cabanas at The Terrace and enjoy food and drinks at Scape Restaurant & Bar. Bookings need to be made at least seven days in advance to avail this rate (so here’s one to plan for next weekend as the rate is valid until September 8).

9. Morah

Throughout the long weekend, Morah is offering guests a 30% discount off their total bill. This deal starts on Thursday August 31 and is inclusive of food and beverages, it runs until Sunday September 3. Expect stunning views of the city and contemporary Middle Eastern cuisine.

10. Breeze

Breeze Bar and grill

At Breeze Beach Grill on the Palm, there will be happy hour prices on drinks all weekend over Eid. They are also hosting a night brunch from 7.30pm till 11pm for Dhs295 on Friday, and an Eid Feast will run all day Saturday and Sunday, where there will be a DJ, sharing platters brought to the table and their sweet shack will also be open. The Saturday and Sunday feast will be Dhs150 with unlimited soft drinks and Dhs295 with three hours of house beverage.

11. Ramusake

There’s a new Sake and Sochu menu launching this September at Ramusake, so as a teaser they’re offering the newly created Jun’ai cocktail for Dhs55 over Eid. The cocktail is a blend of Gin, Plum Umeshu, fresh plum fruits, jasmine tea infused sugar and fresh lemon juice. Special 250ml bottles of sparkling Sake will be Dhs120 all weekend too.

12. Mint Leaf of London

Head Chef Pradeep Khullar has created a bespoke eight-course tasting menu for the Eid weekend at Mint Leaf of London. For Dhs249, diners can expect their experience to enjoy a selection of hot and cold starters, with main dishes served alongside assorted sides. For dessert, there’s an a la carte selection, including their signature nougat bar.

13. BiCE

BiCE, the Italian Ristorante at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, is offering food lovers a Dhs250 cash back voucher for every AED500 spent on their Friday brunch. The offer is running this Eid up until September 20, and the cash back vouchers can be redeemed on any a la carte dinner menu items seven days a week until September 30.

14. Candypants at Andreaas

Designed for the fun-loving party people, Candypants is doing a special Eid addition of its raucous party brunch. Expect commercial sing-along hits, inflatable air guitars, and water guns spiked with drinks. After the brunch, there’s free entry next door to XL for an after party, where brunchers pile onto the dance floor with resident DJs spinning pop hits till late.

16. Asia Asia

Asia Asia are celebrating the Eid weekend with a two-day party. On Friday September 1, join the Eid edition of the spice route brunch, a three-hour Pan-Asian package of the restaurant’s signature dishes from 2pm to 5pm starting from Dhs295. And on Saturday, head to their ‘Sushi Saturdays’ for unlimited sushi and Dim Sum from 2pm to 7pm including a glass of grape from Dhs249.

17. Wild Wadi

Starting with Ladies’ Night on August 31 and running through to September 8, Wild Wadi Waterpark is open for longer to make the most of the long summer evenings, closing every night at 10pm. On Thursdays, the park is open from 8pm to 12am exclusively for ladies. 18. IMG World of Adventures

The world’s largest indoor theme park is planning to celebrate the one year anniversary of its opening in style. On August 31, the first 365 visitors to the park will get access to all rides across each of the its four zones completely free. Then, every 365th visitor to enter the park from that point (so 365, 730 etc) will receive a complimentary annual pass to the park for the next 12 months. The first 5,000 guests who buy tickets to the park on Thursday will also receive a voucher for a 50% discount on their next visit.

19. Legoland

There’s a brand new resident ticket for Legoland Dubai and Legoland water park from September 1 priced at Dhs165 per park. To get the deal, residents can purchase the tickets online or at the gate (you can buy up to 5 tickets with each valid Emirates ID). Non-resident prices have also changed and are Dhs235 per park, or Dhs285 for both.

19. Pool access at Raffles

For a chilled day out, you could always just opt for a pool access pass, and Raffles currently offers one at a discount rate of Dhs150. The day pass to Raffles rooftop pool also comes with two drinks included, which you could sip on at the swim-up bar.

20. Pool and beach access at El Chiringuito

For a taste of the White Isle, take advantage of the summer rate at El Chiringuito. The Balearic-inspired beach club offers day passes until September 14 at a rate of Dhs100. There’s also a Saturday brunch option from Dhs395, which comes with pool and beach access included, and it’s open until 3am on Friday and Saturday.
