Party Monsters will take over the Steigenberger Hotel in Business Bay on Saturday November 11.

A new rave is launching in Dubai next month – and this one is perfect for the underage crowd.

Party Monsters invites party-hard parents and their kids to join a unique fun-for-the-whole-family rave at The Backyard in Business Bay.

Guests can expect local and international DJs playing a mix of club classics, house, garage and drum & bass. Sound levels will be maintained at a lower level to ensure it is safe for children of all ages.

To keep the kids entertained when they’re not raving, there will be a soft play chill zone, ball pool, tents, a child-friendly light display, giant balloons and even a baby sensory dance floor.

The event will also have an arts and crafts area, face painting, magicians, and arcade games. Fancy dress is encouraged though not essential, and November’s theme is ‘Jungle Friends’.

Party Monsters founder and Dubai Dad blogger Vip Patel explains, “The rave culture rose massively in the 90s and early noughties and ravers from those generations are now starting families. Party Monsters is giving them the opportunity to share this experience, in a controlled, family friendly environment, with their children.”

Headlining the season opener will be History of House head honcho, Jon Besant. He’ll be supported by Dance FM’s latest recruit Woodle, and Bassworx resident, Tigger, both experienced DJs in the underground music scene.

Kicking off on Saturday November 11 at The Backyard at Steigenberger Hotel, Business Bay, Party Monsters will be a monthly event until April.

The Backyard, Steigenberger Hotel, Business Bay, Saturday November 11, 12pm to 5pm, adults Dhs70, children Dhs35, kids under two are free. Tickets will go on sale shortly and can be purchased on platinumlist.net
