Finally, a nightclub for the JBR party people…

The latest in a string of openings at Rixos Premium, JBR, Inner City Zoo, will open its doors on Friday October 13.

The 10,000-square-foot nightclub is all about exposed brickwork, leather booths and funky neons. A state-of-the-art lighting and sound system is also part of the furniture.

And though it promises a ‘wild night out for Dubai’s untamed party people’, there are more chilled areas too.

While three ‘VIP’ booths come complete with an adjacent podium and DJ booth views, there are more than a dozen cushy leather booths, high table seating for grabbing a drink by the bar, and a more lounge-like snug area perfect for a more intimate setting.

A weekly ladies’ night will also kick in soon.

The music policy sounds like it’s going to have something for everyone. We’re expecting a mix of house music, chart toppers and R&B blends to dominate each night through Monday to Friday.

Inner City Zoo has already named its two resident DJs, L’Afrique Musique DJ, Henry X, and Belaire DJ Emma Love, who are both expected to bring their unique sounds to the decks.

But we reckon it’s not just going to be about the music. The ‘Inner City Girls’, the venue’s dance troupe, will also take to the stage for a series of live performances.

It’s the latest venue to open at the Rixos Premium JBR after the second Lock Stock and Barrel opened last month, with several more restaurants and bars planned to open soon.

STK, the American steakhouse concept, and Jumeirah favourite and New York export Black Tap should both open in the hotel before the end of the year. Neither has a confirmed opening date yet.

Irish favourite McGettigan’s is also opening up a branch on JBR this month. It will take place in the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah on The Walk.
