More than 10 outlets in Terminal 3 are part of the new food delivery service.

Ever get those last-minute food cravings right before your plane is about to board?

Well, if you’re traveling through Terminal 3 at DXB, there’s a solution. The region’s first airport delivery service has been launched today, in collaboration with Deliveroo.

The new service, named DeliverooDXB, is available for passengers in the A-Gates of DXB Terminal 3. It will mean that travellers can get food from more than 10 participating outlets delivered straight to their boarding gate.

Restaurants included in the service include Costa, Giraffe, Café Chocolate, Picnic, Paul Bakery & Restaurant, Pulp Juice, Carluccio’s, Le Pain Quotidien and McDonald’s.

It’s the latest in several new launches that have recently been implemented at Dubai International to improve passenger experience.

In August, Dubai Airports and content provider ICFLIX partnered to offer free streaming of movies and TV shows in Arabic, English and French on their smartphones and laptops.

There was also the introduction of a new sleep lounge ‘sleep ‘n fly’, where you can catch those much-needed 40 winks before your flight in a private pod.

Next year, Dubai Airports will look to roll-out the DeliverooDXB service across further outlets and concourses at the airport.
