A three-day beach festival, two big birthdays for top Dubai clubs and Creamfields is back in the capital…

Now that we’re in the final few weeks of the year, Dubai’s nightlife stalwarts are pulling out all the stops to get some major events in before 2017 is over. From big birthday bashes for Mahiki and Lucky Voice, to a three-day music festival at Zero Gravity, to the return of Creamfields in the capital, there’s heaps happening across the emirates.

Here are 7 big nights out to hit up this week…

Tuesday: Mahiki turns six

The popular Polynesian party spot in Jumeirah Beach Hotel is celebrating its sixth birthday tonight with a special edition ladies’ night. DJs Mistermistery and Neil T will take to the decks, and there will be gifts and giveaways from Browz salon, project cupcake, Pretty Little Thing and hair extensions expert Lamiese from ‘Love your Lox’.

Wednesday: Disconekt at Vii

For the hardcore party people, Disconekt hits the decks at Vii every Wednesday and it’s all about the music. Resident DJs Frederick Stone, Aidin Karami and Jixo & Danz join forces to deliver a techno and tech house night that packs out until the very end. Head down from 9pm for B4 Disconekt in Vii’s urban garden, with DJ Mario Bazouri.

Thursday: Willy William at Billionaire Mansion


Popular for its Sunday urban night The List, as well as its bi-weekly ladies’ night every Tuesday and Friday, the Monaco import superclub Billionaire mansion is this Thursday bringing French-Jamaican DJ, music producer and singer-songwriter Willy William for a live performance. Famed for his club remixes and vocal collaborations with a number of dance music artists, you’ll probably recognise him from his recent hit ‘Mi Gente’.

Friday: Lucky Voice turns one

Our double award-winning karaoke bar Lucky Voice is turning one this weekend. And to celebrate one year of brunching, partying, and singing, on Friday December 8 there will be a champagne reception, plenty of crowd karaoke and lip sync battles action, surprise acts, live music by resident band Game Over, and the venues resident DJs spinning till the early hours.

Friday: Fiesta De Musica at Zero Gravity

Zero Gravity is launching its biggest beach music festival in its history this weekend, Fiesta Musica. The three-day party will kick off on Thursday with dance and R&B legend Trever Nelson doing an evening set, continuing from 8am on Friday with the Dubai debut for the Ibiza House Orchestra, made up of some of Ibiza’s most talented live musicians. Plus, there will be water sports, a chill zone, music tent and fireworks display at night. On Friday, there will also be a one-off brunch from 1pm to 5pm inclusive of food and drink for Dhs350.

Friday: Creamfields Abu Dhabi

Dance festival Creamfields will return to Abu Dhabi for the first time since 2014 this Friday at the du Arena. British trance gurus Above & Beyond join Canadian superstar deadmau5 and Swedish legends Axwell /\ Ingrosso on the bill at the Yas Island gig.

Saturday: Party Monsters at The Backyard

More of a day out than a night out, this is a rave that every age group can get involved in. After the successful launch of Party Monsters family-friendly rave, the second edition is back this Saturday with a festive theme at The Steigenberger Hotel in Business Bay. Ravers can expect break dancing Santas, festive treats and activities, and, of course, a rave up for the whole family.
