The eagerly awaited tourist attraction will welcome visitors from New Year’s Day.

After much suspense, we finally have an official opening date for Dubai Frame.

Described as a New Year’s gift to Dubai, from January 1, residents and tourists will be able to visit the new attraction, which is expected to receive two million visitors each year.

Dubai Frame consists of two transparent 150-metre-high towers that are connected by a 93-metre bridge at the top. A panoramic elevator will take visitors up to the bridge, where they can admire the panoramic views over old and new Dubai.

Visitors will also journey through Dubai’s past, the city’s history and evolution which will be told through museums and 3D presentations.

Tickets are still yet to go live, but once on sale, entry to Dubai Frame will cost Dhs50 for adults and Dhs30 for children, with children under three, people over 60 and people of determination free of charge. It will be open daily, from 10am to 7pm.

The new tourist attraction, located in Zabeel Park, which was originally slated to open in 2015, had its opening postponed until after the opening of the hotly-awaited Dubai Safari.
