1. Take advantage of a new industry night

Media City loft Q43 is launching its first industry night this Sunday. A dedicated night for those who work in the hospitality and hoteliers industry, just show your work ID to the reception team to take advantage of 50 per cent off food and beverages all night long.

2. Take the kids for some discounted flip out fun

Looking for something to occupy the kids this half term? Flip Out have introduced a week-long of budget-friendly activities to keep the little ones bouncing throughout the school holiday. Until February 24, when you buy one hour, you’ll get a second hour of bouncing for free all through the week. Expect more than 200 interconnected trampolines, with activities including giant foam pits, dodgeball games and bubble soccer.

3. Treat yourself to a pamper package

Through the month of February, Sisters Beauty Lounge is offering a selection of pamper packages to treat yourself or a loved one to. Tuesday February 13

4. Tuck in to unlimited pancakes

While the city might be gearing up to enjoy Valentine’s Day on February 14, there’s a day before that’s also worth celebrating, especially if you’ve got a sweet (or savoury) tooth. To mark Pancake Day, Copper Dog are serving up unlimited pancakes for three hours for Dhs99 per person.

6. See a stunning opera show

From February 14, you’ll be able to catch the four-part opera, Aida, performed by the Polish National Opera at Dubai Opera. Running until February 17, Aida is a tragic tale of forbidden love, following the struggle of the Nubian princess, Aida, and the young Egyptian warrior, Radamès, to decide between love or loyalty to their countries. Tickets start from Dhs350.

7. Celebrate Valentine’s Day

Want to go all out this year? For a Valentine’s Day to remember, couples can book a candlelit cabana and dine under the stars at Atlantis, The Palm’s Royal Beach.
