Sponsored: Expect an interactive passport, live cooking stations, churros and chilled poolside beats…

The warmer weather is back in Dubai, and if you’re looking for a spot to soak up the sun and tuck into some top dishes, we’ve got a new brunch we reckon you’re going to want to book.

The Urban Picnic, which takes place poolside at the Vida Downtown, has got a Latin theme for the new season that comes complete with live cooking stations, chilled poolside beats and interactive themed games, including a piñata.

For the food, you can expect to take a trip around Latin America, with the help of a site map disguised as a passport to guide you through the stations. Expect a huge array of salads, with more than 40 ingredients and flavours from six countries, and a pizza station with options including the El Diablo, made of beef and chili, and La Fiesta, with pineapple and turkey.

The sizzling live barbecue station will be your port of call for dishes such as smoked beef brisket, slow-cooked lamb neck and cuero de cordero, while the nacho station is fully loaded with everything from traditional chilli con carne to towers of tacos.

Be sure to save room for dessert. The churro station – probably the quirkiest of all – is home to a stack of sugary and chocolatey churro variations including warm churros, churro caliente, churros shot, and tiro de churros.

Did we mention enough churros?

Grab your sombrero, we’ll see you there…
