A tapas menu debuts at d3, a new celebrity chef opens in Festival City, and a new chef takes the helm in Business Bay…

From wallet-friendly dinner deals perfect for pairs, to unique dining experiences you wouldn’t get anywhere else, we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to dining out in Dubai.

And if you’re looking for somewhere fresh to head to this weekend, we’ve rounded up three spots we reckon you won’t want to miss out on.

The local hero: Billionaire Mansion

You might know Billionaire as the lively party spot for clubbing Downtown, but the dinner and a show experience in the restaurant fills a void left behind by The Act that no Dubai venue has since filled. It’s headed up by newly appointed executive chef Reif Othman, one of Dubai’s top talents, and comes complete with an inventive menu of fusion Asian and Mediterranean food.

Billionaire Mansion, Taj Hotel, Business Bay, 7pm to 3am, Tuesday to Sunday. Tel: (04) 567 8304. billionairemansiondubai.com

The brand new: Pierre’s Bistro and Bar

Chef Pierre Gagnaire, who previously headed up the three Michelin star Etienne in Paris, has just opened a new concept in Dubai Festival City. And while you can expect an extensive fine dining dinner menu, it’s the lively bar and oh-so-instagrammable lounge that makes this place well worth a visit.

The new menu: Molecule

The design-led dining and gallery concept Molecule has launched a new tapas menu perfect for a post work catch up. The menu, available from Sunday to Thursday includes dishes such as Spanish crispy cod fritters and patatas bravas drizzled with bravas sauce and aioli. it’s available at the d3 spot from 3pm onwards.

Molecule, Dubai Design District, Building 6, daily 10am to 2am. Tel: (052) 949 2202. Facebook.com/Moleculedxb
