This looks seriously fun…

With no shortage of escape rooms, theme parks and virtual reality experiences to tackle in Dubai, you’d have thought we’d had our fill of high-energy fun. But a new concept has just opened in JBR that might just trump them all.

Called 3D Blacklight Minigolf Dubai, this mini golf experience is set in the dark, illuminated by elaborate neon backlighting and 3D effects that completely cover the walls and floors of the indoor course.

And you can expect some pretty epic visuals, as the website advertises that it has ‘the biggest 3D Black Light Panorama on the planet’.

From images we’ve seen, each room of the course is themed, from orange-hued images of the desert, to the colourful blue depths of the underwater world, and even an area that takes you out into space.

The entire course takes between one and two hours to complete (depending how good your golfing game is) and is priced at Dhs110 for adults, Dhs90 for children aged 6 to 12 and it’s free of charge for children under 5.

Open daily from 2pm, theres sessions available right into the evening, with the last entry at 11.30pm. But you’ll need to book in advance, as it’s already booking up on the weekends.

So if you fancy switching up the usual after-work office drinks, we reckon we might just have found the place…
