Here’s a little bonus…

We might not be getting an extra day off, but the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that all public parking zones in Dubai will be free of charge on Saturday for the Isra’a Wal Mi’raj holiday.

The UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has confirmed that Isra’a Wal Mi’raj will fall on Saturday, April 14.

There will also be a dry night from 6pm on Friday, April 13 to 7pm on Saturday, April 14.

The RTA said all of its customer happiness centres would close on Saturday for the public holiday. All paid parking zones across the emirate would also be free, except for multi-level parking lots.

The Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram will operate according to their regular schedule. Normal parking fees will resume on Sunday.
