In pics: Global Village closes after record-breaking season
The 22nd season of the popular theme park welcomed more than six million guests…
After another successful season, Global Village closed its doors for summer over the weekend. And now the event organisers have confirmed that the 22nd season was the theme parks most successful yet, welcoming more than 6 million visitors over its 158 days of operation.
Showcasing more than 75 countries over 27 pavilions, this year the theme park also played host to international concerts from Liam Payne and Nancy Ajram as well as achieving the world record for the ‘Largest Cup of hot Tea in the World’ .
So while we wait on details to emerge of what will be in store for Global Village season 23, here’s a round up of some of our favourite pictures from Global Village season 22.
