If you haven’t checked out La Mer yet, well, you’re seriously missing out. Since it first opened to the public in October, the beachfront district at Jumeirah 1 has quickly become one of our favourite weekend hangouts – and every time we visit, there’s something new to check out.

Stars ‘n’ Bars
Popular sports bar Stars ‘n’ Bars is La Mer’s second licensed spot, after Masti. Originally from Monte Carlo, it’s the second Stars ‘n’ Bars outlet in the UAE (the other one is located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi).
This casual Asian restaurant chain serves up “American Chinese” cuisine.
Big Smoke Burger
La Mer is the third Dubai location for this Toronto-born burger joint, which serves handcrafted burgers made from Canadian AAA Angus beef.
