They are having their opening hours extended

Good news for those who like to take a stroll in the evenings to work off a hearty iftar: parks in Dubai have had their timings extended to coincide with Ramadan.

Neighbourhood and pond parks in residential areas will now remain open every day from 8am to 2am, Dubai Municipality announced on Sunday.

Al Mamzar Beach Park has, in turn, cancelled it’s weekly women’s only day in favour of opening the park to all between 8am to 10pm for the duration of the holy month.

Dubai Creek Park in Um Hurair will be open from 9am to 10pm, Sunday to Wednesday and 9am to 11pm, Thursday through Saturday.

Zabeel Park, Mushrif Park and Safa park will be open daily from 11am to 10pm.
