This should make online shopping from overseas both faster and cheaper…

E-commerce marketplace, noon.com, has announced a new partnership with online retail giant eBay to give its customers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia greater access to the service.

The partnership will allow customers to place orders for items on eBay’s marketplace in the US and around the world via noon.com, which will then be fulfilled and delivered directly to the customer’s doorstep here in the UAE.

That means that the super rare test-pressing of New Order’s ‘Brotherhood’ LP that you’ve been eyeing for forever can now finally be yours, without having to faff about with expensive freight-forwarding services.

‘Noon powered by eBay’ will launch in the second half of 2018 and have its own dedicated app. The company will also be offering full return and refund options, based on terms and conditions.

We reached out to Noon.com to confirm whether the service would also apply to eBay’s vast catalogue of online auctions, however a spokesperson from the company told us  that “The partnership is for items bought directly from [eBay’s] marketplace.”

Still, this seems like a clever move on the part of the UAE-based noon.com who is currently in a tricky spot having to go up against its closest rival Souq, that was recently acquired by Amazon.
