But if you plan on skipping the traditional dinner-and-drinks ritual for something a little different, the city has begun to offer some new, unique ladies’ night events to try. So whether it’s the cinema, water park or pamper evenings, here are five alternative ladies’ nights to try in Dubai.
Catch a blockbuster
Taking place every Monday, when purchasing a Dhs150 cinema ticket to the premium 7-star screens, ladies will receive Dhs52.50 back to spend on food and drink from their new a la carte menu. But that’s not all, all ladies will also be treated to a complimentary chocolate brownie and ice cream dessert to finish off their meal.

Cool off at a water park
Ladies can run wild under the stars with a girls-only evening at Wild Wadi waterpark (no boys allowed) where even the lifeguards are an all-female team. You can try the adrenaline fueled Tantrum Alley and the Burj Surj, or lie back and enjoy Juha’s Journey lazy river. The all-ladies evenings are twice a month until the end of September, with the next one on July 5.

Enjoy a dinner by the beach
It’s great to see unlicensed eateries getting in on the ladies’ night action too, and this gorgeous Turkish spot has no less than three different ladies’ night deals. On Sundays, you get free mocktails, on Mondays, there’s free kunefe or baklava (yum), and – possibly the best deal – on Tuesdays, when you buy one course, you’ll get one free. Grab your BFF and head there for your next dinner date.

Pamper yourself with a spa evening
On Tuesdays, ladies can spend from 6pm to 10pm indulging in treatments ranging from a 15-minute foot massage, a file and polish for your hands or brow neatening at the dedicated brow station. Healthy snacks and mocktails will be served as guests enjoy a 15-minute back massage, or take advantage of a bespoke skin consultation. Complete use of the spa’s facilities that include a sauna and steam room, ice fountains, a hydro pool and a plunge pool is also included.

Enjoy a girlie get together
If you head down to Parlour Boutique, the contemporary French inspired cafe in One Central, there’s a new ladies’ night every Wednesday. It’s an a la carte offering from their French-inspired menu, that will be served up alongside complimentary female grooming stations from henna, to hair nails, as well as fashion pop ups and interactive activities. Try their signature afternoon tea with a twist – it’s served on an Eiffel Tower.
