The Brooklyn-based producer descends on Analog Room for a House Music “masterclass”…

Dubai’s premiere underground clubbing night, Analog Room, kicked off its new season with a bang and a venue change last month, and it doesn’t look like it has any plans on slowing down.

This Thursday, August 2, legendary House DJ Kenny Dope will be spinning in the main Club Room at Stereo Arcade, serving up what organisers are calling a “House Music” masterclass.

Born Kenny Gonzales, the Brooklyn, New York-based producer and DJ has been making waves in the House scene since the late ’80s. He is one half of the Masters At Work production duo who’s neighbourhood house parties are the stuff of legend.

Perhaps best known for his 1995 single ‘The Bomb (These Sounds Fall Into My Mind’, released under the moniker of The Bucketheads, Kenny Dope is sure to set the dancefloor ablaze with a set of classic dance music beats.

At its new Stereo Arcade home in JBR, Analog Room now sports a two-room setup where you’ll also be able to catch b2b sets from local selectors Siamak Amidi and Riccardo De Meneses in the Boom Room.

The party kicks off at 10pm with tickets to the Club Room only Dhs100. Entry into the Boom Room is free all night.
