He’s the man behind the two Michelin star La Mere Brazier in Lyon…

French food fan? You’ll soon have a new restaurant to check out as another celebrated chef is set to open a restaurant in the city.

Chef Mathieu Viannay, the culinary mastermind behind La Mere Brazier in Lyon, France is opening a new restaurant on The Palm very soon.

The high-end french restaurant will be called Rue Royale by Mathieu Viannay and can be found in The Pointe, a new destination at the tip of The Palm. Although few details are available at the moment, a look at the restaurants website says it’s ‘opening soon’, so we hope we don’t have long to wait.

Named after the street upon which you’ll find two-Michelin star la Mere Brazier, we’re hopeful that a few of the dishes from La Mere Brazier make it to Dubai.

Rue Royale is the latest in a string of projects opening on The Pointe. It will join the already opened seafood spot Seafood Kitchen, German export Chicago Meatpackers and Chalet Berezka, an Eastern European restaurant promising daily live entertainment and a shish license until 5am on weekends.
