The jazz-funk band are set to rock the Media City Amphitheatre stage.

Jamiroquai is the second of three headliners to be announced for the 2019 Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival.

The 17th edition of the music festival will take place at Dubai’s Media City Amphitheatre from February 20 to 22, with the legendary jazz-funk band set to perform on the Thursday night.

It will be the band’s first performance in the UAE since 2013 when they played at the Sandance music festival on the Palm Jumeirah.

Fronted by Jay Kay, the Grammy Award-winning band have sold more than 26 million albums worldwide since forming in 1992, spawning countless hits, including Virtual Insanity, Cosmic Girl, Canned Heat and Space Cowboy.

Snow Patrol were the first headlining act to be announced for next year’s Dubai Jazz Festival. The Irish rockers will take to the stage on February 20.

The final headliner is expected to be announced on Wednesday. Tickets are priced from Dhs350, and are now available from Virgin Megastores and on the Dubai Jazz Festival website.
