Here are all the music megastars coming to Dubai in the coming months…

2018 was an epic year for concerts in the UAE, with big names like the Backstreet Boys, Ricky Martin, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith and Guns N’ Roses all taking to sold-out venues across the country.

But there’s plenty more where that came from – and we’re already getting excited for next year, with some stellar artist announcements. We’ve rounded up all the stars with confirmed gigs coming up – mark these dates in your diary!

December

Enrique Iglesias

Latin pop legend Enrique Iglesias will be jetting into Dubai on December 14 to perform at new Palm Jumeirah destination, The Pointe. The Hero hitmaker will take to the custom-built overwater stage at 9pm, although events will kick off from 4pm. He was last here in 2017, as a headliner for the Dubai Jazz Festival.

Jason Derulo

American singer-songwriter-dancer Jason Derulo is set to perform at popular theme park Global Village on December 14. The In My Head singer will take to the main stage as part of an end-of-term concert. Entry to the gig is included in the Global Village ticket price, which is just Dhs15.

January

Momoland

K-pop girl group Momoland is heading to Dubai for their first concert in the Middle East on January 4. You’ll be able to see the nine-member group perform hits like BAAM and Bboom Bboom at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.

George Ezra

George Ezra is set to bring his soulful vocals to Dubai for the very first time. The English singer-songwriter, best known for hits like Budapest and Blame It On Me, will take to the stage at Dubai World Trade Centre on January 22.

Jake Bugg

Known for his indie folk and soulful sound, audiences can expect to hear a mix of Jake Bugg’s greatest hits including ‘Seen It All’, ‘Lighting Bolt’, ‘Two Fingers’ as well as songs from his critically acclaimed new album ‘Hearts That Strain’  when he takes to the stage at Dubai Opera on February 7.

Jess Glynne

Brit popstar Jess Glynne will open RedFestDXB at Media City Amphitheatre on February 14.  The London-born star has had two number one albums and a string of hits over the last few years, and last performed in Dubai in 2016.

G-Eazy

American rapper G-Eazy will also be performing on the opening night of RedFestDXB. It’s also not the first time G-Eazy has hit the stage in Dubai – he was last here in 2018 performing at clubs including Base Dubai and Cavalli.

Camila Cabello

Cuban-American singer Camilla Cabello will perform at RedFestDXB on February 15. Rising to fame as part of girl group Fifth Harmony, Camilla Cabello released her debut solo album in January 2018, with lead single Havana topping the charts in several countries across the globe.

Macklemore

American rapper Macklemore will also take to the RedFestDXB stage on February 15. The Glorious rapper was last in the UAE back in 2014, performing at Abu Dhabi’s du Arena with music partner Ryan Lewis.

Snow Patrol

Snow Patrol will perform at the 2019 Dubai Jazz Festival. The 17th edition of the music festival will take place at Dubai’s Media City Amphitheatre from February 20 to 22, with the Irish rockers set to perform on the opening evening. It will be the band’s first performance in the UAE since 2012, when they headlined the Sandance music festival on the Palm Jumeirah.

Jamiroquai

Jamiroquai will also be performing at the Dubai Jazz Festival, taking to the Media City Amphitheatre stage on February 21. It will be the legendary jazz-funk band’s first performance in the UAE since 2013 when they played at the Sandance music festival on the Palm Jumeirah.

Alicia Keys

The third and final headliner for the Dubai Jazz Festival is Alicia Keys, who will be closing the show on February 22. Keys – sometimes described as the Queen of R&B – will be returning to the UAE for the first time since her Set The World On Firetour back in 2013.
