There’s some big names headed to town between now and New Year’s Eve…

It’s been a huge year for massive headline acts across Dubai, but we’re not done yet. Over the final couple of weeks of the year there’s some mega DJs still to head to town, spinning at some of Dubai’s top venues.

Here are four unmissable DJ sets you need to see in Dubai this December.

Thursday December 13: Steve Lawler

Popular British electronic artist and producer is no stranger to Soho Garden, having headlined at the venue twice this year. He’s back this weekend to headline a free-entry gig at the Meydan hotspot on Thursday December 13.

Friday December 28: Solomun

Meydan super venue Soho Beach is set to welcome award-winning DJ Solomun for a huge one-day festival just before New Year’s on Friday December 28. No stranger to Dubai, Solomun has previously performed at Gotha and Eden Beach Club, as well as headlining Blue Marlin’s New Year’s Eve party last year.

Monday December 31: Claptone

The mysterious DJ Claptone, who hides his identity behind a dramatic gold mask, has headlined at venue’s across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but he’ll be making his debut at The Penthouse on New Year’s Eve. The upscale rooftop bar will be turning into a Great Gatsby style extravaganza, with free-flowing food and drink until 5am, live entertainment and front row seats to Dubai’s stunning fireworks displays all included.

Monday December 31: Rudimental and Sigala

Not exactly DJs, but definitely worth a mention, Rudimental are one of a double serving of Brit Award-winning stars at at Zero Gravity this year, alongside Sigala. Both have headlined at Zero Gravity before, with ‘Feel The Love’ ‘Right Here’ and ‘Sun Comes Up’ hitmakers Rudimental last in town in February. They’ll perform a DJ set alongside ‘Came Here For Love’ hitmaker, Sigala. Tickets include access to the beach and pool – if you fancy heading down early you can leave to freshen up and come back in.
