Sponsored: Traditional Greek eats, Zorba dancing and plate smashing are all on the menu at new hotspot…

Greek food is currently having a moment in Dubai, and the new kid on the block is here to shake things up when it comes to going Greek in the city.

Introducing Opa, an upscale, fairly priced new Greek restaurant which has just opened its doors in the Fairmont Dubai on Sheikh Zayed road.

It’s got a wow-worthy entrance of whitewashed walls overgrowing with colourful foliage that transports you straight to a hidden gem on the Greek islands (not to mention instantly ups your Instagram game).

Once inside the venue is smart but welcoming, with a while and blue colour scheme interrupted by vibrant greenery which adds an inviting charm.

What’s on the menu, you ask?

Well expect signature classic dishes such as Prawn Saganaki, Kleftiko and Bougatsa, alongside a modern interpretation of some more traditional Greek plates.

But the Greek experience isn’t just limited to the menu. Each night Opa promises traditional Greek Zorba dancing and dish smashing, at the end of your meal. That’s one way to avoid the washing up…

As well as Greek-inspired music played each evening to compliment your authentic dining experience, guests can also look forward to an exciting program of live entertainment.

Authentic Greek eats, Zorba dancing and no washing up? We know where we’ll be dining this week…
