There will be a big leisure and spa focus here, with the region’s first AWAY Spa which combines a lively atmosphere with the ultimate pampering experience, a wet deck that sets the scene for poolside play, two celebrity chef led restaurants and a state-of-the-art gym.

Another of the city’s top winter attractions, Dubai Miracle Garden, has just opened for its seventh season. The unique outdoor destination, which contains around 100 million blooms, has a new theme every year – this year it’s a reimagined Disney Avenue, where the record-breaking Mickey Mouse sculpture from last year will be joined by some friends. Other new features include a floral castle which houses a garden dining experience, a new amphitheatre for putting on shows, as well as life-sized floral elephants that will spray water from their trunks.
