The Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai features six restaurants at its stunning beachfront location…

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai, which is unsurprisingly found in Jumeirah, has opened its doors. It’s the first hotel in the city from the world-renowned hotel brand.

Promising 178 rooms, 78 high-end suites and six new restaurants at its beachfront location, the brand says it will bring ‘a new wave of luxury’ to its guests.

The hotel has been designed by acclaimed international designer Jeffrey Wilkes, and the stunning lobby welcomes guests on arrival with a forest of 900 lights in trees leading to the beach front. The lobby then opens up onto an outdoor terrace comprising water features, walkways, stone bridges and decks creating a path to the pristine shoreline.

Inside Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai you’ll find six brand new restaurants for guests and residents alike to get their teeth into. Chef Jose Avillez, of two Michelin-star restaurant Belcanto in Lisbon will take diners on a journey through Portuguese cuisine at Tasca, a vibrant indoor and alfresco restaurant. There is also a Japanese steakhouse called Netsu.

The Bay, a brasserie-style, all-day dining restaurant with show-kitchens and family-friendly menus and Noor Lounge, which will open round the clock for light bites are a further two restaurants to check out.

The Mandarin Cake Shop, Sun Vibe poolside restaurant and the Club Lounge, accessible for guests of the Club Rooms and suites, completes the offering.

Elsewhere in the hotel, you’ll find a 2,000-square-metre spa with nine treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art gym and ‘Little Nomads’ kids’ club.
