Sponsored: You can also win Dhs5,000 in vouchers for leaving a review of where you live…

Planning on moving house? Or maybe you’re just curious to see how other neighbourhoods rank compared to yours. Well, there’s now a website for that – and it’s called Mintaga.

Mintaga, which comes from an Arabic word meaning ‘locale’, is a platform for leaving and reading honest reviews from people who live in towers and villas in different communities across the city. Mintaga looks at a whole array of elements of a community which include maintenance, amenities, access, transport, community and the overall value for money.

It then ranks the different communities depending on the ones with the highest reviews, and breaks it down into the city’s most popular buildings too.

The reviews have been left by tenants, or previous tenants, so you know it’s advice you can trust. Plus, it’s available on everything from single-person studios or family-sized villas.

Even more incentive to get involved, if you leave a review on the site at the minute, you stand a chance at winning a Dhs5,000 voucher to spend at IKEA, just for giving your feedback.
