What’s On has teamed up with Taste New Zealand to give one lucky reader a gift bag full of the finest produce and goodies for the land of Lord of the Rings.

As well as this bumper bag of prizes, the reader will get two exclusive tickets to the Taste New Zealand chef competition taking place on April 26 at Park Hyatt Dubai. The competition pits 10 of the UAE’s best chefs against each other, with a New Zealand-themed awards night to follow.

New Zealand Trade Commissioner Steve Jones said that the calibre of chefs in this year’s competition has been impressive: “Deciding on the 10 finalists [25 had originally featured] was a tough task as each entrant used the ingredients specified to create a high quality and original recipe submission. The 10 finalists are some of the finest chefs in the UAE and we are excited to see what they create at the final cook-off on 26 April to showcase New Zealand ingredients at their best.”
