Around the time Dubai’s club kids will be preparing to hibernate in air-conditioned buildings, Ibiza’s party season will be getting into full swing.

If you’re missing out on a trip to the White Isle this summer, the Pukka Up Ibiza party at Nasimi Beach on Friday April 18 could be a way to bring a little Balearic boost to your weekend.

Ibiza resident DJ Chris Wright – who was a regular at super-club Space by the time he was 22-years-old – will headline the party at the venue on Atlantis the Palm.

The house music DJ has previously shared bills with the likes of Faithless, Tinie Tempah, and Kelis.

Kicking off at 2pm, the party will also feature sets from DJ Billie Clements and Dubai’s own Mark Pickup and Mark Castley.

Guests can expect free giveaways and Pukka Up branded merchandise on the day, with the party at Nasimi Beach going on until 3am.

Elsewhere in the city, underground electronic pop duo Tale of Us will play at Groove on the Grass at Emirates Golf Club, which kicks off at 7pm on the same day. Hip hop fans can hear DJ Jazzy Jeff play a set at Cirque Le Soir at the Fairmont Hotel from 10pm on April 21.
