The inaugural Hype Nightlife and Music Awards took place on Wednesday night, celebrating the region’s after-dark heroes, the real movers and shakers: the risk-takers; the believers; the people and places that make our weekends.

In a brilliant party at White Dubai, the recently-opened superclub on the roof of the Meydan Racecourse Grandstand, 17 different winners were named across a variety of categories, several of which are the first of their kind in Dubai.
