The world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, lit up with a photograph of Jacinda Ardern over the weekend as Dubai paid tribute to New Zealand’s Prime Minister.

Sharing the image to his social media pages, HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and ruler of Dubai thanked Arden for her ‘sincere empathy and support’.

The image, which was beamed onto the Burj on Friday March 22, was captioned simply with the word ‘peace’.

The display of solidarity comes one week after a devastating attack on two mosques in the city of Christchurch, New Zealand killed 50 Muslims.
