It’ll take place on Yas Island for the first time since 2014

Music fans rejoice: another event has been announced for the capital. Dance festival Creamfields will return to Abu Dhabi for the first time since 2014. It’ll take place December 8.

Abu Dhabi event organisers Flash Entertainment made the announcement with a short video on Facebook. There’s no news yet on who will be performing on the night, but it’s a traditionally heavy affair. The venue has also yet to be announced, but it’ll most likely be the du Arena, the same as previous years. Check out the full announcement video below.

Back in 2014, the line-up consisted of Dutch electro house DJ Hardwell, Italian decks guru Marco Carola, Swedish techno star Adam Beyer and another Dutch legend, DJ and producer Afrojack.

The previous year’s headlines were British dance legends The Prodigy and Calvin Harris, who just so happens to be one of the headliners at this year’s Yasalam F1 after-race concerts.

What’s On will give you more info on the 2017 line-up, and how to get tickets, as soon as we get it.
