Make the most of ladies’ day at Yas Waterworld

Ladies can start the weekend early by heading along to Yas Waterworld between 10am and 11pm. The ladies’ day lets female guests have the park’s 40-plus rides, slides and attractions all to themselves. To ensure a private atmosphere all day long, guests are asked to leave their phones behind.

Head to an African party

To celebrate African Pride Month, Bounce Abu Dhabi is hosting a special African night party. There will be a dance show from Abu Dhabi University’s Nigerian club, as well as Zumba sessions and African music by DJ Zangola. Sudanese rapper Taher Elias (T.A) will also be performing at the event.

Watch a movie in the park

Dubbed the ultimate outdoor cinema experience in the UAE, Movies in the Park takes place at Yas Island’s du Arena. As well as screenings of family-favourite films such as Moana and Jurassic Park, there’ll be dancers, a funfair, live music and food trucks.

See a French rap star

French rapper/singer Maître Gims will be performing at MAD on Yas Island tonight. The Congo-born star has racked up millions of views on YouTube, and has collaborated with big names like Lil Wayne and Dua Lipa. It’s ladies’ night, which means female fans will get free drinks, while entrance for guys is Dhs150 with two drinks.

Check out the newly returned Ripe Market

The popular Abu Dhabi Ripe Market will make its return today at Umm Al Emarat Park. The al fresco market will take place every Saturday from 3pm to 9pm during the cooler months, and will feature more than 100 stalls, with fashion, beauty, art, home decor, and locally grown fruit and veggies from Ripe Organic on offer.

Book a table at a Saturday brunch
