And two of them are popular hotspots in Dubai…

Just in time for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Yas Island is set to welcome three brand new openings. And if you’ve dined or partied in Dubai, you’ve probably heard of two of them.

Dubai’s British gastropub The Scene and popular party spot Mr Miyagi’s are both set to open their doors in Yas Marina, alongside a new concept called Casa De Cuba.

All three spots will open on Thursday November 22, just in time for the first day of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix festivities.

So what are they like? Well although no images have yet been released, 4-front, the hospitality company behind all three venues has given us some indication.

At The Scene, Yas Marina guests can expect top British gastro dishes, craft beers and a family-friendly atmosphere. A botanist garden will serve up a dedicated gin-based cocktail menu, while live acoustic musicians will dictate the tempo at the new family-friendly spot.

While at Mr Miyagi’s, guests can expect the same all-singing, all-dancing brunches, live karaoke and cabaret shows that have made its Dubai outpost so legendary when it arrives in Yas Marina next month, coupled with some seriously impressive Yas Marina views.

For the Cuban cocktail bar, Casa De Cuba, the brand have teamed up with Dinos Constantinides, cocktail legend and owner of the world’s 25th best cocktail bar, ‘Lost & Found’. Promising ‘a quality, authentic Cuban experience from decor to scent to taste to sound’, we’ve got high expectations for some top-notch cocktails served up to a weekly program of live DJs and Cuban style percussionists.

Over race weekend, it’ll be free entry at The Scene with or without an F1 pass, and the regular A la carte menu served from midday. At Casa De Cuba, F1 passes aren’t necessary, with small tables for up to 6 starting from Dhs2,500 minimum spend up to Dhs10,000 for a VIP booth for 8 to 10 guests. For Mr Miyagi’s, again you won’t need a pass to enter, with tables of 6 to 8 starting from a minimum spend of Dhs2,500.

Keen to get involved? The brand are still recruiting for a few roles, with both The Scene and Mr Miyagi’s advertising for positions on their social channels.

See you trackside…
