It’s guaranteed to be a fantastic three nights out for the whole family…

Eid Al Adha is fast approaching, and if you’re staying in Abu Dhabi over the Eid public holiday, make sure you head over to Yas Marina over the Eid Al Adha holidays to check out the spectacular firework display.

The fireworks start at 9pm and will take place on the first three days of Eid Al Fitr (although we won’t know until nearer the time which days that is).

And it’s not just the fireworks that you will get to enjoy on the night. Remember, Yas Marina is home to nine restaurants that showcase a variety of cuisines from all around the world. So while you take in the spectacular fireworks, you can delight your palate at the same time.

Dine with some familiar names like family-friendly gastropub The Scene, Mr Miyagi’s or stunning seafood restaurant, Aquarium.

Looking to elevate your dining experience? Upscale Italian restaurant, Cipriani boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony for the best viewing seats in the house.

However, if a dinner out isn’t on your agenda, here’s another cool way to see the fireworks.

Captain Tony’s will be waiting to take you around for a stunning tour of the Yas Marina waters on a traditional dhow.

The tour starts 30 minutes before the fireworks and last about an hour – so it’s guaranteed you will catch the fireworks while on board.

The tour costs Dhs100 for adults and Dhs50 for children between six and 12 years old. Spaces are limited, so ensure you make your bookings quickly before all the seats get taken.

While the exact Eid date is still dependent on the moon, UAE officials have confirmed that residents will enjoy a public holiday from Saturday August 10 until Tuesday August 13, before returning to work on Wednesday August 14.
