The world’s biggest beer and folk festival is back…
With the weather finally cooling down and the events season ramping up into full swing, the arrival of September and October can only mean one thing: Oktoberfest. And while you may not be able to travel to Munich, Germany to celebrate the fun festival, there are so many venues in the capital celebrating the Volksfest so you won’t miss out.
We’ve rounded up a list of spots in the capital offerings serving up fine music, great food and drinks, and many more activities celebrating Oktoberfest in true Bavarian style.

Le Meridien Abu Dhabi
When: Thursday, October 3 to Saturday, October 5, 2019
Expect three nights of celebrations with all-night entertainment while you eat, drink and dance at The Village at Le Meridien Abu Dhabi. Celebrations begin at 7pm here and run until closing time, during which you can dig into a spread of German delicacies and foamy ice cold beverages.There’s a menu of traditional and unlimited Bavarian treats including sauerkraut, pretzels, home-made sausages and family favourites for just Dhs120. For your entertainment, a live five-piece band will play too.

Victor’s Abu Dhabi
When: Thursday, October 3 to Saturday, October 5, 2019
Housed within Hilton Capital Grand Abu Dhabi, Victor’s Abu Dhabi is celebrating Oktoberfest for three days from October 3 to October 5, 2019 complete with drinks, food, and games. For your live entertainment – there is Bavarian Camel Band with DJ Chris that you can listen to as you tuck into meals prepared from a meat carving station on display at the terrace. The food package is available at Dhs99 with a litre of hops. Stay up all night and indulge yourself with the selected hops for as low as Dhs20.

Hero at Crown Plaza Abu Dhabi
When: Saturdays to Tuesdays during the month of October 2019
Cool sports bar in Abu Dhabi, Hero’s, is celebrating Oktoberfest in true Bavaria style with a cool offer. The amazing Hops O’clock offer runs every Saturday to Tuesday during the month of October where the price of a beer changes depending on the time. So for example, if you order a glass of Lowenbrau say at noon, it will cost you only Dhs12, order at 2pm (14.00) and you’ll spend Dhs14, and so on. The promo however ends at 8pm (20.00 – Dhs20) and you will then pay Dhs28 for Lowenbrau.
Harvesters at Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi Downtown
When: Saturdays to Tuesdays during the month of October 2019
Harvesters is also offering Hops O’clock on Lowenbrau, with the offer running every Saturday to Tuesday during the month of October. Pay only Dhs12 when you order at noon, order at 2pm (14.00) and you’ll spend Dhs14, and so on. At 8pm (20.00 – Dhs20) you will then pay Dhs28 for Lowenbrau. Pair it with German snacks while enjoying the music played by Harvester’s resident DJ.
Radisson Blu Al Ain
When: Saturday, September 21 to 6 to Sunday, October 6, 2019
Spend this Oktoberfest dancing the night away to live entertainment at Radisson Blu Al Ain. The venue is serving an array of mouthwatering Bavarian dishes with a twist and many delicious surprises. To help wash it all down and to help you keep hydrated, there are German beverages available throughout the evening as well.

Dig out your dirndl attire, don your lederhosen and head to Hemingway’s Garden at Radisson Blu Abu Dhabi Corniche where live entertainment and an exciting spread of German favorites await. Located at the Lake Garden in the resort, you’ll find lots of fun activities such as barrel tapping, table tennis, darts, and of course plenty of dancing. Radisson Blu has also flown in German Band “Die Aichvelder” who will be providing the traditional music. Hungry? There’s a scrumptious selection of German sausages, meats from the grill, homemade pretzels and much more. Pair it with an endless selection ice cold beverages available.

Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi has been hosting Oktoberfest since 1993, which makes this year its 26th year running – so you can imagine that they really know how to celebrate this fun festival. Brauhaus will be offering a variety of traditional German sausages and specialities from the grill, sharing platters will also be available in addition to mouth-watering snacks such as homemade pretzels. You can then burn off those calories by dancing the night away to traditional Bavarian music with a six-piece live band who have been flown in just to mark the occasion. Round up a group of 10 or more mates and you can enjoy special sharing style plates with 500ml of beer per person for Dhs130.

Appaloosa

The American bar located at Marriott Hotel Al Forsan Abu Dhabi is going all out this Oktoberfest – even debuting an all-new Hops Garden. There will be a special a la carte menu serving up authentic cuisine such as juicy sliders, potato salad, sauerkraut, Bavarian knuckle, veal schnitzel and more that you can pair with a range of German beers priced from Dhs45. While you tuck in, be entertained by Die Handwerker. Opening the night will be Markus Kopp and Christian who together will be displaying their skills on more than 14 live instruments. Entry to the festivities at Appaloose is completely free.
