Because let’s be honest, we all love a bit of celebrity goss…

With so many A-listers (and, let’s be honest B-, C- and D-listers) visiting the glittering Emirates every day, here’s a compilation of who was spotted where this week.

With the F1 happening in Abu Dhabi, it’s a well-known fact that a few famous faces have flown into the city, whether it’s to perform a concert, catch the racing action, or just visit the UAE. Here’s what they got up to…

Roger Federer

The world-class professional tennis player has actually been living in Dubai for the last month to prepare before returning to the Association of Tennis Professionals Tour. Last weekend, Federer headed down to the F1 to watch driver Nico Rosberg take the win, but he also managed to fit in a spot of tennis in the sun (naturally):

Paris Hilton

The socialite-turned-entrepreneur is a woman of many talents. When she’s not busy pasting the front pages of tabloids, or running a multi-million dollar business, she’s actually a pretty neat DJ (yes, we were surprised too). Paris was in town to play a DJ set at VIP Room’s F1 after party.

Akon & Paris Hilton

The Senegal-born American singer has been pumping out hit after auto-tuned hit since the dawn of time, and his show at MAD club’s F1 after-party proved that the crowds still love it.

Rihanna’s squeeze and the rapper of our decade, Drake was also in town to play a set at the VIP Room F1 after party and he managed to fit in some hanging-out-at-luxury-hotels time while he was here.

Vitaly Zdorovetskiy

The Russian-born YouTube personality rose to fame with his prank videos, having since garnered more than one billion views and nine million subscribers.

Vitaly swings by Dubai every so often, and it seems he’s in town to do a meet and greet on Thursday from 5pm to 6pm at the Kite Beach skate park.
