Pool days, dinner deals, ice skating classes and a cake shake…

We’re counting down the final few weeks of summer, and rounding up some great indoors activities for you.

We’ve got dinner deals, a mid-week party brunch and a yoga workshop that will help you through the week.

Here are eight things to do in Dubai this week…

Sunday August 20

1. Take the kids to an ice skating class

Open to first-time skaters and beginners six years and older, there’s a new intensive skate course for kids at Dubai Ice Rink with a basic curriculum to help kids master the fundamentals of skating. The course runs Sunday to Wednesday, and each class includes a 30-minute group lesson and an hour-long public skating session. Plus, every student who completes the course will receive a Dubai Ice Rink certificate of completion at the end of the week. With a maximum of 15 students per class, it’s advised to book in advance.

2. Carry on the weekend with a pool day

Those lucky people who don’t have to work on Sunday should head to Le Royal Meridien and take advantage of their summer pool access offer. Catch your daily dose of Vitamin D and receive a Dhs100 voucher to redeem on food and drink at either Shades sports bar or Le Deck, the poolside snack bar. The offer is available every day until the end of August.
