All seven branches in the emirate have been shuttered…

Sad news pizza-lovers, Round Table Pizza has officially closed down in Dubai.

In a report over the weekend Gulf News confirmed via a private Facebook message that the local franchise of the popular US fast food chain has shuttered all seven of its branches in the emirate, seemingly without any reason.

While the brand’s Dubai Facebook page is still up, it hasn’t been active since March 2016, and local restaurant listing websites Zomato and Round Menu list the restaurant’s status as permanently closed.

All of Round Table Pizza’s Dubai outlets are listed as “permanently closed” on Google

Furthermore, a representative from the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) informed Gulf News that the branch located there had “closed and won’t open again”.

It looks like all signs point to this being the end for the restaurant chain that has been active in Dubai since the ’90s.
